AML 30s is a form of lauric acid and consists of lauric acid alfa monoglycerides on a starch carrier. The product contains at least 30% mono-lauric acid, of which a minimum of 95% is alfa-monolaurin. Due to the special production technique and the use of a wheat starch as a carrier, AML 30s has a very high biological availability.
AML 30s comes in 1 mm pellets and due to the unique production process the product remains free-flowing.
AML 30s inhibits Gram-positive bacteria and breaks down the cell wall of fat-coated viruses, thus rendering them harmless. As the fatty acids are linked to glycerol, AML 30s has a low free fatty acid content and neutral smell which contributes to a good feed intake.
