Dysantic® is a phytogenic mixture that inhibits Gram-negative pathogens, including Brachyspira hyodysenteriae. It has been developed especially to contribute to the reduction of antibiotics in livestock farming.
Research has shown that the use of Dysantic® has health promoting effects on pigs, due to the remarkable combination of various plant and herbal components. Results have shown, among others, a decrease in feed conversion and mortality rate. In addition a higher growth was observed in practice.
The health promoting effects lead to a reduction of the average medication use, thus generating a reduction in medication cost.
Dysantic® does not have an inhibiting effect on lactobacillus and bifido bacteria.
